Juventus terminated Kihoza’s contract

According to Tasnim news agency, with the registration of Juventus’s quota in the next season of the Champions League, the club terminated its contract with Federico Chihuza.

Juventus loaned Federico Chihuza from Fiorentina in the summer of 2020 on a two-year deal that would have made the final purchase mandatory for the Old Lady at the end of the second season, with the Champions League quota. Last night (Sunday), Roma’s fifth-placed draw with Bologna three weeks before the end of the season made it impossible for Jose Mourinho to make up for a 10-point gap, leaving Juventus with Napoli, Inter and AC Milan next season in Serie A‌. They will be in the Champions League.

The figure that Juventus has to pay to finalize the contract is 40 million euros, which it can pay in three years.

The 24-year-old, who has been at home since January due to a cruciate ligament tear, has scored 18 goals in 61 games for Juventus. He will not return to action until the end of this season.
