A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly referred to the security of the southeastern borders of the country and its neighborhood with Afghanistan and stated: There are sometimes some small tactical changes in the borders; Especially given that the Afghan government is not an inclusive and popular government and is currently in the hands of a group called the Taliban, there is naturally some expectation of some tactical and minor moves, sometimes as an abuse of ISIS and others.

“We hope that a formal, legal and inclusive people-government government will be established in Afghanistan,” he said.

In response to another question from Fars about how the parliament cooperates with the armed forces, Hemmati noted: The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission and the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly are present wherever necessary to provide more assistance and services to the respected military and law enforcement forces.
