LG’s first gaming laptop with the RTX 3080 and 11th generation Intel processor was introduced

LG has named the UltraGear 17G90Q its first gaming laptop and unveiled it today. In terms of hardware specifications and design, the 17G90Q seems to have all the components of a gaming laptop. But let’s take a look at these specifications.

Specifications of LG UltraGear 17G90Q laptop

The LG 17-inch laptop is powered by an 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics. This notebook will be released in the highest version with 32 GB of RAM and 1 terabyte of memory.

Of course, it is worth noting that LG is no stranger to the production of laptops. Previously, models of the company’s laptops were mostly introduced for office use, gaming was not their goal. The LG Gram 17, for example, was one of the company’s most attractive and lightweight laptops for office use, and was not a good gaming option due to the lack of a dedicated GPU.

However, LG has listed two laptops with Nvidia GPUs on its site, but both have low-power GTX 1650 graphics. Vs. RTX 3080 which in New UltraGear 17G90Q laptop Used is Nvidia’s current fastest graphics for laptops.

Other specifications of this laptop include a 1080p IPS display with a refresh rate of 300 Hz, a 93 watt-hour battery, an RGB keyboard, an integrated fingerprint sensor with a power key and a 1080p webcam. The body of this laptop is made of aluminum and will be marketed in purple-gray.

Although the LG UltraGear 17G90Q is a gaming laptop, it still has a full set of physical ports. Two USB-C ports (one USB 4), two USB-A ports, a headphone jack, an HDMI port, an Ethernet port and a microSD card slot are provided for this device. The laptop will be charged via a dedicated DC port.

LG has not yet released pricing information for the 17G90Q. But we can hope that more information about this device will be released at CES on January 4. The new Korean gaming laptop will hit the Korean and American markets from early 2022.
