Meteorological Organization warns of increasing air pollution

According to Moj News Agency, the Meteorological Organization has issued an orange warning: relative stagnation in the atmosphere along with increasing pollutants and decreasing air quality tomorrow (December 7) for Tehran and Karaj and Wednesday and Thursday (December 17 and 18) for Tehran. Karaj and Isfahan are recommended.

In these weather conditions, increasing the air quality index to unhealthy levels for all groups in industrial and high-traffic areas is not far from expectation, so the Meteorological Organization to avoid outdoor traffic, especially for the elderly, children and people with a history of illness, avoid physical activity and sports. Recommends outdoor management of fossil fuel consumption and operating time of industrial units in and around metropolitan areas.

The Meteorological Agency’s orange warning predicts that atmospheric phenomena will have negative effects and cause possible damage. The orange alert is issued to prepare the responsible devices to deal with a harmful phenomenon.
