Microsoft unveiled the new Surface Laptop Go 3

Microsoft yesterday during its Surface event The third generation of the new model of the Surface Laptop Go series (Surface Laptop Go) unveiled. Surface Laptop Go 3 will be released on October 11 (October 3) with an initial price of $799.
You might confuse the new Surface Laptop Go 3 with Microsoft’s non-laptop Surface Go model; A smaller and less efficient version of the original Surface tablet line. Microsoft’s 12.4-inch laptop is the company’s latest budget-friendly notebook for those who aren’t looking for a powerhouse and like the style of the Surface.
Specifications of Surface Laptop Go 3
As shown in the WinFuture leak, the latest version of Microsoft’s Laptop Go is similar to the previous Surface Laptop Go 2, but there are improvements in some areas. Previous models were equipped with 11th generation Intel chips. But the new device comes with 12th generation Intel Core i5 chips, which bring an 88% increase in speed compared to the previous generation. You can configure the Go Laptop 3 with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, but the base version still has 8GB of RAM.
Aside from the aforementioned performance issues, the new Surface Laptop Go 3 is largely identical to the previous model. The new generation of Surface Laptop Go uses a PixelSense touch screen with an aspect ratio of 3:2; Just like the previous model and the first example released in 2020. The display still has a paltry 1536 x 1024 resolution. The new model will be available in four colors: Platinum, Sage, Sandstone, and Ice Blue, and weighs less than 2.5 pounds.
You also get the same port layout as last year, which includes a USB-A port, a USB-C port, a headphone jack on the left, and a dedicated Surface Connect port on the right. A fingerprint scanner is also seen in the new Microsoft laptop. Other features of this device include support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and removable SSD modules that you can upgrade to 512 GB of storage space. The laptop has a 720p webcam with studio microphones, which includes Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio support.
