Mohseni ‌Ajei: Lack of production and employment will lead to social anomalies / We have large tax evasions in the country

According to the Fars news agency from Ahvaz, Abdolhossein Mohseni Ejei, the head of the judiciary, said in a meeting with Khuzestan craftsmen: “Today, part of the political, cultural and social issues depend on production, and if there is no production and employment, it will lead to social anomalies.”

Referring to the statistics of criminal cases in Khuzestan, he added: “A high percentage of our first crime in the province was theft and the second was drugs.”

Asked how much we should spend to prevent these crimes, the head of the judiciary said: “What harms will be done to families by theft and drugs, and will there be beatings and abnormalities in families?” The fact that I say that the best thing to do today is to create production and employment because of its positive effects on society.

He added: “A producer who produces but cannot sell or export will definitely keep the product on his hands. Certainly, if there is no turnover in production, production cannot continue.”

The head of the judiciary, stating that one of the ways to solve the problems of the judiciary, said: “Sometimes there are cases that are either the producer of the plaintiff or the defendant, or the plaintiff or the defendant.”

He added: “We ask all classes and strata to form a working group to solve specialized problems in order to solve specialized problems, because some judges due to workload or lack of expertise in some areas to address issues in due time.”

Ejei said that the head of the facilitation headquarters in the province is the governor, adding that the judiciary should form working groups in this headquarters, including the production support working group, in order to support production.

Emphasizing that one of the problems of producers is in obtaining bank facilities, Ejei said: “Our economy is bank-oriented and producers often have problems in repaying facilities, which should be reconsidered in these cases.”

Referring to the problems of paying taxes in the country, he added: “Some people do not pay their taxes, so we have a big tax evasion, instead some pay their taxes to the last rial.”
