More than 65 babies are born daily in Kermanshah – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news
According to the Mehr news agency, Sadegh Khodadadi stated: In the first five months of this year, more than 9,819 babies have been born in Kermanshah province.
Referring to the gender segregation of statistics, he added: of this amount, 5,203 were male infants and 4,616 were female infants.
The director general of the Kermanshah registry office stated: According to these statistics, for every 100 girls, 113 boys have been born.
He continued: in a period of five months from the beginning of this year in Kermanshah province, 2.7 births per hour, 65 per day and 1,964 births per month have been registered.
Referring to the process of issuing birth certificates for infants, Khodadadi noted: Families have 15 days from birth to apply for a birth certificate for their child.
He announced the date of birth of the babies according to the birth certificate of the hospital where he was born.
Explaining the marriage statistics registered in the same period, Khodadadi said: During the first five months of this year, eight thousand 48 marriages have been registered in Kermanshah province.
