According to Tejarat News, Mahmoud Mahmoudzadeh, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, stated: The proposal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development to determine the ceiling of the National Movement movement facilities in different cities was approved by the Monetary and Credit Council.

He explained: “According to this, housing applicants in Tehran will receive 450 million Tomans, in cities with a population of more than one million (metropolises) 400 million Tomans and in provincial centers 350 million Tomans will receive construction facilities.”

According to Mahmoudzadeh, the figure of these facilities in other cities is 350 million Tomans and for rural housing is 250 million Tomans.

Payment of interest is related to income decile

Regarding the benefits and how to repay these facilities, the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: “The benefits of the facilities are variable and depend on the household income decile, and the government will support the lower deciles.”

He added: “According to the resolution of the Monetary and Credit Council, the interest on the facility is 18%, and by using the facilities provided by the National Housing Fund through the” Production Leap Law “, for low-income deciles dependent on affordability and part of the financial capacity. Percentage will be provided through the fund.

Mahmoudzadeh continued: “In this plan, the applicant is final, part of this project will be financed by the people themselves and part of the financing will be done through the facilities that were approved by the council last night.”

Deputy Minister of Housing and Construction of the Ministry of Roads stated: In the new plan, the amount of facilities that was previously in the National Housing Action Plan was 100 to 150 million Tomans and finally reached 250 million Tomans, and now more than 60% of the unit cost through supply facilities It becomes.

According to IRNA, four million housing units are to be built in four years under the National Housing Movement plan, and the registration process is currently underway. The implementation of this plan has started in the first week of October in most provinces. So far, nearly 900,000 people have registered in the National Movement plan through the “Saman” system.
