My Persian Wage clarification system; A proposal to guarantee workers’ rights

Fars news; My Persian: Fouad Shabani is concerned about the hardships of working life. He has registered an interesting idea in my Fars system: the system for clarifying workers’ wages. Shabani believes that this system has a significant impact on improving the quality of working life. In a conversation with a Fars reporter, he said: “I am the head of the CNC unit in a complex. My main concern is the issue of the minimum wage approved by the workers. Considering the situation of inflation and high prices, the approved basic salary of the workers is not consistent with the price of the goods.

He believes that despite the low monthly salaries of the workers, some employers fail to pay this 8 million tomans and do not pay parts of it: “Some do not pay housing or insurance premiums. Put this next to the monthly subsistence basket figure for a family of 3.3 people, which is 12 million 479 thousand 500 tomans!

He explains about his idea as follows: “Just as the issue of transparency of the rights of managers and officials was raised to monitor astronomical rights, the employer must also be monitored to prevent the trampling of workers’ rights.” The best form of monitoring is realized by transparency of wages from the employer to the worker. The details of the workers’ rights should be made available to the public on this system so that the employer cannot make any mistakes.”

The Social Security Organization has a system that contains the details of employees’ salaries and insurance premiums. But Shabani believes that since this system was not created for monitoring, it does not have a monitoring function. He considers another reason for the inadequacy of this system to be “people’s lack of access to this information” and says that surveillance in its non-public form cannot be effectively implemented.

Fouad Shabani says about the functions of his idea: “For example, workers should be off on International Workers’ Day and work on this day should be considered overtime, but many employers are indifferent to this issue.” It is possible to foresee mechanisms in this plan to monitor such issues.

The editor-in-chief of Powish Fars Man introduces the payment of the rights of workers with disabilities as another effect of setting up such a system: “Some employers use the disability of people as an excuse and, for example, do not pay their housing rights, cash benefits, or children’s rights. If this system is launched and the details of workers’ wages and insurance are clearly recorded in it, the employer will no longer be able to avoid the burden of paying the workers’ wages and insurance premiums.”
