According to the Fars News Agency’s music correspondent, the seventh edition of “On the Line of the Moon and Nova” was held online by the Iranian Music Association with the participation of the Roudaki Cultural and Artistic Foundation and the support of the Music Office.

On the second day of the performances, first Reza Kadkhoda from Tehran went on stage and performed lyric poems about Imam Hussein (AS). Then Qasim Hashemi went on stage and performed a narration of Hur bin Yazid Riahi.

The second performance was dedicated to the funeral of Ebrahim Abbaspour from Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari. In this performance, three programs were performed, which included old taziyeh and recording songs from the last 150 years. Hazrat Qasim’s cell, Hazrat Ali Akbar’s corpse, Bakhtiari style in mentioning Imam Reza (AS) and Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) were the programs performed by Ibrahim Abbaspour.

After this performance, it was the turn of Mohsen Mirza Ali and Murshid Ali Nari, who in this performance, narrated various topics of birth, type of uprising and finally Mukhtar’s martyrdom.

The final performance of the second day was dedicated to the performance of mourning for Abbas Zand. The basis of this performance was based on taziyeh and its history in villages and cities. Also, in this performance, which lasted about 20 minutes, some melodies of ritual music were played, and Abbas Zand used the Balaban instrument for the first time in taziyeh programs to perform these pieces in taziyeh programs.
