National basketball team ready to meet Bahrain
In an interview with IRNA today (Tuesday, December 23), Massoud Amari stated: “According to the plan, the Bahraini national basketball team is scheduled to arrive in Tehran today to prepare for the match against Iran in the first window of the 2023 World Cup qualifiers in Asia.”
He continued: 14 basketball players are training under the supervision of Mostafa Hashemi and will play against the Bahraini national team on Friday (December 25) in the basketball hall of Tehran’s Azadi Sports Complex. Fortunately, the national team is in very good condition and the national team is ready to meet Bahrain without injury.
The head of the national basketball team of Iran reminded: “During the past few days in Tehran, we played two games with the teams of Gorgan Municipality and the Syrian national team, and we are going to play against the Exxon team today at 5:00 PM to create more coordination between the children.”
