New UAE stance on Iran – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr News Agency, Anwar Gargash, the political advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates, tweeted about his position on Iran.

He wrote: “In our approach to strengthening ties and to strengthening stability and prosperity, the UAE distances itself from confrontational and polarizing discourses, and our relationship with our neighbor Iran is at the core of this process.”

The UAE president’s political adviser added that diplomatic relations and economic co-operation are the UAE’s way of dealing with issues left over from the past and future plans.

In an interview with CNN, Gargash also stated that his country is looking for a way to cooperate effectively with Iran and establish stability and prosperity in the entire region.

Gargash also stressed that the Middle East region is witnessing fundamental changes, but that it must keep pace with global change and focus on non-political issues.
