Niavaran Museum hosts tourists with the slogan “Niavaran for mothers”

According to Fars News Agency, Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex has special programs for Nowruz tourists entering the 15th century.

Simultaneously with Nowruz 1401, in order to achieve the goals of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, this complex will hold Nowruz celebrations and various events with the slogan “Helpers for Mothers” from the 1st to the 12th of Farvardin 1401.

Performing local music and rituals of Iranian tribes, performing special programs for children, holding cultural and artistic competitions in the field of heritage and culture, and performing environmental performances and field programs related to Nowruz in the garden area are among the special programs of Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex during Nowruz.

In the “Iranian Ethnic Festival”, which has been organized in cooperation with the Tourism and Automobile Association, different ethnic groups of the country will present their products and culture in the fields of handicrafts and souvenirs.

This special collection has also prepared an educational program “I am the little custodian of my cultural heritage” for children. In addition to having a lively and happy aspect for children, this educational program acquaints them with the historical and ancient monuments of the country and teaches them how to protect this valuable heritage.

The issue of educating the protection of cultural and natural heritage to all groups and sections of society, especially to children, is one of the concerns of Niavaran Palace. Therefore, due to the successful experience of holding “public protection workshops” in this complex in previous years, in Nowruz 1401, another series of this series of workshops in cooperation with the Crisis Management and Preventive Protection Committee of the Cultural Heritage Department in four separate sections to acquaint Nowruz tourists with Restoration of bedding, carpets, mirrors, pottery, tiles and preventive fire protection is carried out in museums.

In addition to this workshop, in order to make tourists more familiar with the unique features of the historic garden of Niavaran and its special plant and animal species, a “workshop on the biodiversity of the historic garden of Niavaran” has been set up.

Setting the Haftsin table in five active museums of Niavaran complex along with unveiling the works of museums with the aim of preserving this traditional ritual and introducing cultural assets as much as possible is one of the measures taken on the occasion of Nowruz.

Niavaran collection has also designed and arranged seven peripheral chests inspired by Persian carpet designs in the garden fountains to “seven underwater chests”.

Niavaran Cultural and Historical Complex hosts Nowruz tourists every day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM until the 12th of Farvardin 1401, and those interested can visit the Niavaran Complex located in Shahid Bahonar Square (Niavaran) to participate in these festivals and visit museums in full compliance with health protocols. It is active until 19:00.
