New official teaser by Xiaomi The Redmi G 2021 gaming notebook has been released, which shows its comparison with the closest competitors. Apparently, the Redmi gaming laptop is superior to the Lenovo Legion 5 and Asus TUF A15, at least on paper.

The popular Chinese company plans to show its ambitions with its latest device, the Redmi G 2021. The notebook will be unveiled today, and now before that, Redmi has decided to compare it with two gaming laptops from two competing companies.

Official Redmi G gaming notebook teaser

In a post on Weibo, Xiaomi has unveiled its new Redmi G with laptops that appear to be Lenovo Legion 5 and Asus TUF A15. In the teaser, we see that the Redmi G 2021 offers better specifications than its competitors, where more heat transfer tubes (5 pcs) compared to Lenovo (3 pcs) and Asus (4 pcs) are offered. The Redmi laptop also uses two 12-volt fans, which will be better than the two 10-volt Legion 5 fans.

This superiority continues in the display segment, the Redmi G is apparently 5 times larger with its 16.1-inch, 144Hz display, at least with the 15.6-inch, 144Hz TUF A15, 15.6-inch, and 165Hz Legion displays. Of course, these specifications are only on paper and the actual quality of the screen is a different matter.

The interesting point of this comparison is the price of competitors. While all three laptops use the AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and GeForce RTX 3060 graphics, the Lenovo Legion 5 and Asus TUF A15 are priced at 8366 and 7899 yuan. If we take this teaser as a criterion, it means that Xiaomi intends to consider a lower price tag, which means that the Redmi G 2021 is also cheaper than the Asus model. The first generation Redmi G was priced at 6,999 yuan in the highest configuration, and we expect the 2021 to be priced in the same range.
