The National Development Fund has deposited 97.5 trillion rials (equivalent to $ 1.5 billion) in banks or funds selected by law in five stages in 1996, 1997 and 1999.

In the first nine months of 1999, in accordance with the announcement of the fifth stage of allocation of credit for the Law on Sustainable Development in Rural and Nomadic Areas, an order was taken to withdraw the unused balance of these credits in the amount of $ 245 million from the National Development Fund to the Central Bank. The clause of the notified contract, the share of the amount of Rials related to the two operating banks has also been deposited in their accounts.
