Porsche builds 15 luxury hotels

The famous German brand Porsche, which is also involved in the design of lifestyle products, has started a partnership with the Steinberger Hotels and Resorts Group, which will result in the construction of 15 luxury and expensive hotels in different parts of the world.

Porsche has been a symbol of luxury cars for the last century. In 1972, Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche launched the Porsche Design Group, a lifestyle brand that added that Porsche money-making feature to the world of suitcases, watches, speakers, and even kitchen knives. Now the German carmaker has entered an exciting new arena: building luxury hotels.

This summer, the Porsche Design Group announced its partnership with Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts, a lifestyle brand with more than 150 hotels on three continents.

The news certainly raised many questions (will every room have a free sports car?), Most of which were answered by Steinberger in a press release this month.

The first phase of planning for Porsche Design Hotels in collaboration with Stegenberger will include the construction of 15 hotels in major cities around the world, including London, Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai. The exact date of the hotels’ opening is still unclear, although Marcus Bernhart, CEO of Stegenberger Hotels, hopes to achieve “significant global growth” by 2027.

Each hotel will have at least 150 rooms and suites, plus a collection of luxury restaurants, cafes, spas and gyms. Stegenberger has promised to “transmit the philosophy of the Porsche brand to the exterior and interior of hotels with its sleek designs and unique lighting concepts.” If the original computer designs are true, these chic hotels will feature plenty of silver and chrome in the design, warm lighting and suede seating areas; In other words, people booking these hotels are likely to have the experience of living on a Porsche spacecraft.

While Porsche Design is primarily known for its luxury goods, the brand also has experience in the real estate world. In 2017, the company established a luxury residential building (Porsche Design Tower Miami), a 60-story skyscraper on the Sunny Isles in Florida. Each of the 132 condos in the complex has its own private garage, with glass elevators that take residents’ cars directly to their front door. People who live in the four-story penthouse in this complex can enter the living room directly. Everything here is very Porsche and luxury.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. So now some can take their Porsche Design luggage, ride their Porsche 911 and travel to the new Porsche Design Hotel!
