According to the Mehr correspondent, Hojjatullah Abdul Maleki, Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, on the sidelines of the unveiling of the national comprehensive social insurance plan for the deprived and low-income groups of farmers, villagers and nomads, told reporters: The Ministry of People is said to be pursuing four main projects, including employment, the future of the people in the form of a pension system, the welfare of the people, and the property of the people in order to alleviate poverty.
He pointed out that the first meeting of the Supreme Employment Council in the 13th government was held in October this year, and specified: “In this meeting, the employment ecology of Iran was approved as a platform for coordination between different sectors.”
The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare further referred to the issue of the future of the people and the pension system and emphasized: In this sector, the 13th government is rapidly implementing a comprehensive social insurance system for low-income people. In the last 16 years since the launch of the Social Insurance Fund for Farmers, Villagers and Nomads, one million and 480 thousand people have been covered and it is planned to be one million and 400 thousand people in the framework of the national comprehensive social insurance plan for the deprived and the underprivileged. He said that the Social Insurance Fund for Farmers, Villagers and Nomads is a favorable situation, adding: “In the last 6 months, this complex has had a good profitability and we have no worries about the financial balance in this fund.” So that for every 10 insurances there is one retiree.
Abdul Maleki, stating that the national plan for comprehensive social insurance for the deprived and low-income groups had begun in the past, said: “But it had not been completed and with the care of members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, a good credit in 1401 has been considered for the implementation of this plan.”
The Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, noting that in the national plan of comprehensive social insurance for the deprived and low-income groups in the first year of the insured does not pay any amount, added: سالهای Next one percent is added to the insured premium annually.

He also mentioned about the living package for low-income and deprived people: three long-term, short-term and medium-term programs are being prepared by the order of the president in order to eradicate poverty and will be determined soon.
