According to the Aria Heritage Report, Mostafa Pourali examined the registration of intangible heritage in the field of calligraphy in our country and told the Ravash Tamasha program on Goftgoo Radio: “The registration of intangible cultural elements is achieved according to the 2003 UNESCO Convention. “The convention has several lists for global registration, one of which includes intangible heritage, which includes traditional shipbuilding and sailing in the Persian Gulf.”

He added: “In another example, Nowruz, Dotar, etc. are registered in the list of identifiers – the second list of UNESCO – and the third list is for elements that are well protected, and calligraphy is the first art that can be used in this regard. Takes.”

Pour-Ali considered this issue to have artistic artistic achievements and said: “Iran’s calligraphy was so great that it was registered in such a list.”

The Director General of Registration and Privacy of Works and Preservation and Restoration of Spiritual and Natural Heritage stated about the steps and path of registration of a national work in the World Register: “All elements registered in these three lists have English translations and in the sense of registered elements. . “In this regard, each element to be registered in these three lists must be compiled and its file based on the format of the registered list, and on the other hand, it needs a number of 10-minute photos and videos.”

Noting that important information about each element is provided in each file, he added: “For example, in the case of recording the calligraphy element, we first had to explain what history this art has in Iran and how it is dynamic and alive today. »

Pour-Ali also pointed to the need to explain how to protect this national art among Iranians in the face of life changes, and said: “The art of calligraphy is now established in our country in a way that can easily continue in the future.”

He went on to criticize the inadequate guarding conditions of many intangible elements in our country, saying: “In this regard, we can mention the nomadic migration, which needs special support, but the traditional art of calligraphy is different and has passed the proper guarding conditions. »

“Although the contemporary period of this art can not be compared with its peak in the last 300 years, because the changes in industrialization and the introduction of subsidy systems and different current lifestyles, have caused all the elements,” added the director general. “Cultural conditions have other conditions, and the formation of a convention to protect these elements covers the same conditions.”

He continued by stating that Iranians have tried to promote some elements due to their belonging to some ancient arts and elements: “Therefore, today Iranian calligraphy has much better conditions than this art in Turkey, that is why we are trying to “The element should be included in the World Register.”

Pour-Ali also announced the collection and submission of the Razavi pilgrimage file for the registration of world monuments in UNESCO and said: “We could have sent the Razavi pilgrimage as a representative, but due to the type of protection of this element and its importance, it was included in the list of protection rights program. . »
