Re-entry of dust from neighboring countries to Iran


According to Moj News Agency, Amir Hossein Sarkardeh, a meteorological expert, announced: “Today and tomorrow, the intensity of wind and dust that has entered Iran from neighboring countries will decrease, but still in some cities, including Kermanshah, Kurdistan and the western and central regions.” Including Tehran and Alborz, we see wind and dust with less intensity and weakness.

According to the meteorologist, from Wednesday, we will see the arrival of dust from neighboring countries again, which will activate local centers of dust in some cities. Therefore, at the end of the week in some cities, including the western areas and the southern margin of Alborz, we will see an increase in air pollution with the phenomenon of dust, although in some cities we will see scattered rainfall.

Today, the air pollution index in Tehran has reached 117, which is a decrease compared to yesterday.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Organization, today in some areas of the east and southeast of the country, strong winds and sometimes dust occur, and in the southwest and west of the country, the sky is dusty.

On Sunday, in the southern slopes of Alborz, located in Semnan and east of Tehran, as well as in the provinces of Mazandaran, Golestan, North Khorasan and some parts of Khorasan Razavi, cloudy and scattered rain showers, sometimes strong winds and thunderstorms occur. In some parts of the east and southeast of the country, strong winds and sometimes dust occur.
