Registration of 400,000 Tehranians in the National Housing Movement

According to Tejarat News, Khalil Mohabbatkhah added in this regard: 292 thousand people are also waiting to receive inquiries from the relevant ministries.

He stated: According to the communication plan of this ministry, the quota of each province for the annual construction of one million housing units in the first phase of 1400 has been determined and the share of Tehran province has been predicted to be 14,488 units.

Director General of Roads and Urban Development of Tehran Province continued: The registration of applicants in the National Housing Movement project has started on October 19 and due to the wide acceptance of citizens, the registration in the project has been extended until January 6 in Tehran province.

Mohabbatkhah said: “Currently, registration is done for the cities for which land has been provided. Accordingly, in Tehran province, it is possible to register in 12 cities, including Islamshahr, Pakdasht, Pishva, Robat Karim, Varamin, Bumhan, Damavand, Roodehen, Firoozkooh.” The new city of Hashtgerd is the new city of Parand and the new city of Ivanki.

He added: “The important point is that Tehranians are only allowed to register in Pakdasht, Robat Karim, Parand, Hashtgerd and Ivanki, and if they have registered incorrectly in other cities of the province, they should cancel in the remaining time and choose the right city again.”

The official said: “Registration in cities such as Damavand, Roodehen and Firoozkooh is reserved for the natives of these cities, and many Tehranians choose these cities by mistake.”

He stated that the applicants can apply for registration at any time of the day or night, adding that the condition for registration in the National Housing Movement plan is to have a green “C” form, not to have private property, to be married or to be a head of household and to be at least five years old. Living in the city is in demand for housing.

Mohabbatkhah continued: It is predicted that the implementation of the National Housing Movement plan will have positive effects on the housing market, not in the short term but in the long term, and will move towards equilibrium by reducing housing demand with the focus and priority of housing for deprived and destitute families.
