Russia: Normalization of relations with NATO has become impossible

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Groshko said on Friday that normal relations with NATO members were impossible due to the hostile actions of NATO members against Moscow.

According to the news agency “Sputnik“There is currently no positive point between NATO and Russia that can be talked about,” Grushko told a news conference.

The Russian diplomat added that the increase in NATO movements around Russia’s borders, including the deployment of strategic weapons, indicates that the allies of the military alliance are rapidly “moving towards Cold War practices” that “directly affect relations with Russia.”

By proposing a country as NATO’s diplomatic representative in Moscow, Groshko stressed that Russia would continue to support normal interactions with NATO on European security.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rodenko said on Thursday that Moscow had warned NATO that any move by Ukraine to join the military bloc would have consequences.
