Russia welcomed the formation of the Lebanese government



According to IRNA, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Bogdanov and Abu Zayd Ali met in Moscow today (Thursday). The Russian side welcomed and welcomed the end of the process of forming the Lebanese government to the post of Prime Minister “Najib Mikati”.

The Russian president’s envoy to the Middle East expressed hope that the severe social and economic crisis in Lebanon would be resolved as soon as possible.

Bogdanov also stressed Russia’s support for Lebanon’s independence, sovereignty and integrity, and the right of its people to decide their own affairs without foreign interference.

In this meeting, some issues of relations and cooperation between Russia and Lebanon were discussed.

After about 13 months of uncertainty and a vicious circle in which the formation of the Lebanese government was caught, it ended with the decree that Najib Mikati received last Friday from the Lebanese President Michel Aoun to form the new Lebanese government, a decree that fell with And there were many ups and downs.

Lebanese President Michel Aoun officially signed the decree forming the new Lebanese government headed by Najib Mikati and communicated it to him.

According to reports, the decree was signed by Aoun during a meeting at Ba’abda Palace in the presence of Najib Mikati and Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, according to which Mikati’s cabinet will consist of 22 ministers, along with Mikati and his deputy.
