Saei: The Taekwondo family is empathetic; I want the steelmaker to be with us

According to IRNA, Hadi Saei said today, Wednesday, after being elected as the new president of the Taekwondo Federation: “Thank you all, dear ones, and I am grateful for Poladgar’s efforts.” All the good things in Taekwondo happened in his time. I want the Taekwondo family to be together. Taekwondo should make this family cohesive.

He added: “I ask Poladgar to be with us and their experiences can not be gained with any money.”

“Empathy is the first issue I believe in,” said the new president of the Taekwondo Federation. All Taekwondo families have abilities and we must be together.

The president of the Taekwondo Federation said: “The election was hard and heavy and in the end I hope I deserve the trust of the Taekwondo family.”

“The program has three parts, and the most important is the Olympics, which have a short time left and we have to plan quickly,” he said of his plans. We need to try not to lag behind the world taekwondo. According to the ranking of the system, we should launch the Omid team to be a good support for adults.

“Part of the potential of taekwondo, including coaches, champions and veterans, has been left out and should be used,” he said.

Regarding the staff, Saei said: “In the past, when I was the national team manager, I tried to use all my potential.” We have to use the coaches who are successful in the league and the champion coaches.

Regarding the future of Fariborz Asgari, the head coach of the national taekwondo team, he said: “Currently, the camps are closed and we have to hold a meeting and plan.”

Regarding the fact that it is said that he has not yet been the leader of the Iranian convoy in the games of Islamic countries, Saei said: “The executive board has voted twice orally and in writing, and do not worry about this issue.”

Saei also explained about the conditions of using Reza Mehmandoust: he is one of the best coaches but he is currently working in another country.

Saei became the president of the Taekwondo Federation today with 29 votes. Poladgar also received 27 votes to leave the federation after 21 years of presidency.
