Several new and important features are finally coming to Instagram

Some important features in the field of security and management of Instagram account will soon open their way to this program.

Instagram is surprised to receive thousands of messages about hacked accounts and is deeply involved in returning accounts to their original owners. However, the creators of this program have tried to make hacking accounts more difficult by installing new security features. Of course, there is no better way than preventative measures, and this is what Instagram has been missing lately.

In recent days, Instagram has introduced new security tools to prevent hacking, which may not be able to completely prevent hacking; But they are a step forward anyway. After the introduction of Security Checkup for users whose accounts were hacked, now after a year, this feature will be available to all users around the world.

This attractive feature allows you to check login activity, check profile information, verify accounts that share login information, and update contact information, including phone number and email. This new security tool will be located in Profile menu> Settings> Security> Security Checkup.

In order to further secure your Instagram account, we suggest enabling WhatsApp two-factor authentication, which currently only works in some countries. You can also enable two-factor authentication with a phone number or authentication apps such as Duo Mobile or Google Authenticator.

Another important feature that comes to Instagram is the ability to delete posts that you have previously hidden. This feature may seem trivial, but you should know that previously it was not possible to delete posts without returning them to the home screen. In addition to posts, it is possible to archive or delete stories, IGTV and Reels, and even comments, likes, reactions to the story, and more.

With all the new features, you can now find your content and conversations by date and filter, or search for comments, likes, and replies to your stories. All these tools are placed in the profile section and can be seen in the “Your activity” menu.

Finally, Instagram engineers are looking at a new feature so that those whose accounts are hacked can get their account back with the approval of their friends. It is not yet known when this feature will be released, but more information will be released soon.
