Signal Taiwan to China by conducting simulated air confrontation exercise

According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, the Taiwan Air Force practiced battle with enemy fighters, including China, in a simulated exercise on Wednesday.

According to the newspaper “China Morning PostBefore taking off, Taiwanese pilots rushed to their aircraft from a base in Chia, where F-16 fighter jets are often used to intercept fighter jets, when the alarm sounded.

The exercise was part of a three-day exercise to demonstrate Taiwan’s war readiness ahead of the New Year holidays. Military aircraft often fly southwest of Taiwan Air Defense Reconnaissance Zone.

“We are facing a large number of Chinese aircraft entering our defense zone, and our pilots are, of course, very experienced,” said Yen Hsiang Sheng, a Taiwanese military official. The Taiwanese military official added that the exercise will train Taiwanese fighters to monitor, detect, intercept and simulate air combat.

The regular flight of Chinese military aircraft to southwestern Taiwan has become a challenge for the island.

Beijing considers Taiwan a part of China, and considers US moves and arms sales to Taiwan a violation of its sovereignty and contrary to the “one China” policy. However, the United States is effectively supporting the island by sending ships to the Strait of Taiwan and providing military assistance to Taiwan, and Beijing has repeatedly objected to this. However, UN member states, including the United States itself, do not recognize Taiwan as an independent state.

China has stepped up its threats in recent weeks by sending fighters near Taiwan and holding military exercises.

Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense recently claimed that five Chinese military fighter jets and reconnaissance aircraft had entered the island’s reconnaissance and defense zone. A Taiwanese Ministry of Defense Twitter account announced that five Chinese military aircraft, including three Y-8 reconnaissance aircraft and two G-11 fighter jets, entered the Taiwan Defense Zone in the southwest of the island. Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense announced the interception of these military jets and the rapid deployment of its fighters to launch Chinese fighter jets and aircraft.
