According to IRNA; The official website of the World Taekwondo Federation announced the Olympic ranking of Taekwondo athletes in December, in which the girls of our country improved their position by calculating the points of the first round of the 2021 Women’s World Taekwondo Championship.
In the ranking announced by the World Federation and in the men’s section, Armin Hadipour, the representative of our country in the 58-kg weight category, is in the eighth place, and Hossein Lotfi, another Iranian taekwondo fighter, is in the forty-sixth place in this weight category.
In weight -68 kg; Mir Hashem Hosseini was ranked sixth. Soroush Ahmadi took the twelfth place and Amir Mohammad Bakhshi also registered the twentieth place in his name.
Mohammad Ali Khosravi is in the fifty-fifth place in the weight of -80 kg and Ali Eshkorian is in the fifty-eighth place. Mehdi Jalali is in the sixty-third place and Mehran Barkhordari is in the sixty-fourth place in this weight.
Sajjad Mardani Taekwondo weight 80 + kg, is in sixth place. Saeed Rajabi, another representative of this weight, has the 33rd rank. Alireza Nadalian was ranked 63rd in this weight class.
But in the women’s group; Mahla Momenzadeh in the weight of -49 kg has registered the sixty-third category in her name. Ismaili artist is ranked sixty-seventh.
In the 57-kg weight category, Zahra Sheidaei, who won a gold medal (40 points) in the World Open Championships, was able to occupy the 47th place with 97 steps. Nahid Kiani, another representative of our country in this weight, is in the 49th place with two steps.
In weight -67 kg; Melika Mir Hosseini won 6 bronze medals in the world freestyle competitions and was ranked 29th. Kimia Hemmati has registered the 58th rank in her name. Kowsar, another representative of this weight class who won a bronze medal at the World Championships, climbed to the seventy-seventh place with 63 steps.
In weight 67+ kg; Zahra Pourasmail is ranked 63rd. Akram Khodabandeh, another representative of this weight, is in the seventy-sixth place.
