Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Insurance Research Institute and Kharazmi University

According to the financial news report, citing the public relations and international affairs of the Insurance Research Institute, during a meeting attended by Mohammad Mahdi Asgari, the head of the Insurance Research Institute, and Ali Hasanbeigi, the president of the Kharazmi University, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Insurance Research Institute and the Kharazmi University.

The purpose of concluding this memorandum is to create fields of cooperation and use the scientific and executive abilities of the parties in order to promote scientific, educational, research, and study activities, as well as the need to create a common dialogue to improve the quality of research activities needed by the country’s insurance industry.

In the signing meeting of this memorandum, which was held on Sunday, July 11, 1402, in the presence of the deputy and senior managers of the two institutions and hosted by the Insurance Research Institute, the head of the Insurance Research Institute expressed hope that this memorandum will be the beginning of scientific interactions and cooperation between the Insurance Research Institute and Kharazmi University, especially the faculties management and financial sciences of this university.

Asgari announced the readiness of the Insurance Research Institute to support the doctoral theses and master’s theses of Kharazmi University students in fields related to the insurance industry. He also announced the participation of the Insurance Research Institute in the 8th International Conference on Financial Engineering and Actuarial Studies of Kharazmi University, which will be held in the near future.

The head of the Insurance Research Institute pointed to the establishment of international relations of the research institute with more than 20 international universities and institutes from 12 countries of the world in the past year and added that these interactions are in line with handing over the responsibility of confirming the professional qualification of insurance industry managers to the research institute and in the form of signing a memorandum of understanding, holding courses Face-to-face training in Tehran, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates, sending representatives of the insurance industry to participate in training courses and conferences, holding webinars and training workshops, etc., have taken place, and the experiences in this field can also be used in the field of joint cooperation between the two groups. In addition, Ali Hasanbeigi, president of Khawarzmi University, added: Khawarzmi University has 15 faculties, 12 research institutes, 3 research institutes, 553 faculty members and 15,000 students. Some are in the post-doctoral period and about 700 international students.
