Signing of cooperation agreement between Insurance Research Institute and Dubai Legend Educational Service Center
According to the financial news report, citing the public relations and international affairs of the insurance institute, the signing meeting of the memorandum of understanding between the insurance research institute and the Legend educational service center was held at noon on Friday 12 March 1401 (March 3, 2023) and at the same time as the closing ceremony of the first international insurance training course. Common for Iranian insurance industry managers, with the presence of Mohammad Mahdi Asgari, head of insurance research institute, Shahram Rezapour, international consultant, head of insurance research institute, Seyed Omran Hasnain Jafari Malik and director of training at Legend Educational Services Center, Armaghan Ahmad, course instructor and participants in this training course at the educational service center Legend (United Arab Emirates) was held.
According to this memorandum of understanding, Legend Educational Service Center will jointly organize learning programs and short-term trainings, holding workshops, seminars, webinars and similar events; joint research and publication in the financial services industry; It will cooperate with the Insurance Research Institute to provide advice and advisory programs in the areas desired by the parties in order to advance knowledge and increase talents in the field of finance, accounting and IFRS along with issuing international financial and accounting certificates.
At the beginning of this meeting, Asgari, while thanking the course instructor and the head of this center for holding a good training program for the Iranian delegation, pointed to the future plans of the research center for insurance and takaful education and expressed hope that the memorandum signed in the present meeting will be effective in advancing the goals of the insurance research center. be
Omran Hasnain, the head of Legend Educational Services Center, while appreciating those involved, hosted Iranian scholars and signed the memorandum of understanding with Bimah Research Institute as a source of pride for this center, and acknowledging the high level of knowledge of the Iranian participants in this course, he expressed hope that in the future courses Legend company’s training should be held for Iran’s insurance industry activists.
At the closing meeting of the training course, certificates of 8 members of the Iranian delegation attending the course were awarded separately by the head of the Insurance Research Institute and the head of the Legend Educational Service Center, and a joint cooperation memorandum was signed between the Insurance Research Institute and the Legend Educational Service Center.
It should be noted that the first international insurance training course on financial reporting standards with an emphasis on IFRS17 started on the morning of Monday, March 8, 1401 (February 27, 2023) with the opening ceremony at the Legend Educational Service Center (United Arab Emirates). In this 5-day training course, which was held in English language with the presence of 8 scholars, including members of the academic staff of the research institute and managers and experts of Iran’s insurance industry, specialized topics related to financial reporting standards were taught by Armaghan Ahmad Modares, a reputable academic center in the United Arab Emirates.
