Some do not want the Iran-China oil partnership to be established

Mehr Doom News Agency in an interview with the former director of international affairs of the National Oil Company and said: One of the countries that, after the inauguration of the 13th government, was especially determined to increase cooperation with Iran, especially in oil exchanges, was China. To this end, Javad Oji held his first foreign meeting with Liing Chang, Vice President for Middle East at China National Petroleum Corporation (CCP), to discuss investment and field development. At present, according to informed sources, the situation of oil exchanges between the two countries is considered very good and the majority of Iran’s oil exports are to China.

However, in recent days, statistics from the Iranian Chamber of Commerce on the import of the first eight months of 2021 were published, which seemed strange. The figures show that China’s oil imports from Iran in the first eight months of 2021 were only $ 12 million.

This statistic means that if we consider the minimum oil price, ie $ 50, Iran’s oil exports to China in these eight months have been only 30,000 barrels per day. The publication of this statistic led to the publication of analyzes by local and foreign individuals and media about the failure of Iran’s business plans. For this reason, the accuracy of this statistic should be measured in comparison with international institutions and knowledgeable individuals.
