Start of construction of 100,000 units of the National Housing Movement in 23 new cities

According to Tejarat News, “Alireza Jafari” today (Tuesday) in an interview with IRNA Regarding the details of the inauguration of the National Housing Movement, he added: “Today (Tuesday) a meeting of the Supreme Housing Council chaired by the President was held in the presence of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development and 100,000 units of the National Housing Movement were inaugurated by video conference in 23 new cities in 11 provinces.”

According to the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the National Housing Movement’s overhauled projects were carried out in the provinces of East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Alborz, Bushehr, Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, Khuzestan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Fars, Markazi and Hormozgan.

He explained: “Today, in Tehran province, in the new city of Parand, 4,497 units, in the campus, 2,500 units and in Ivaneki, 4,000 residential units were overhauled.”

The CEO of the New Cities Development Company added: The most units that were overhauled by the order of the President are related to the new city of Hashtgerd in Alborz province, where 15,320 units were overhauled.

Jafari said: “Today, 14,750 units were overhauled in Fooladshahr, Isfahan, and 10,829 units were demolished in the new city of Golbahar, Khorasan Razavi.”
