Stoltenberg: We will have a full-fledged permanent military presence on the eastern border

According to Fars News Agency’s International Service, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the military alliance will have a full-fledged permanent military presence on the eastern borders of the alliance with the aim of deterring Russia.

According to the NATO Secretary General, this action was taken in response to Moscow’s military campaign against Ukraine.

In an interview with the Telegraph, Stoltenberg said that the US-led NATO military organization is focused on a fundamental change to better reflect new realities in Europe.

“We have already asked military commanders to provide options for what we call ‘readjustment’ that is long-term in line with NATO,” he said.

Decisions are expected to be made at the coalition’s June meeting in Spain, he said.

On the other hand, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Mayo said that the world war is going on now, not just the military aspect.

“We will not support NATO’s military involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, because it would lead to a world war,” he said. We are currently at World War II but not from a military point of view.

Although the United States and NATO member states have refused to send troops or participate directly in the war since the beginning of the crisis in Ukraine, and have opposed Kiev’s request for a no-fly zone over Ukraine, they have imposed tough sanctions on Moscow, which Russia calls an economic war. Describes and warns that these sanctions will deal a serious blow to the entire world economy.

Western nations have also escalated the conflict by sending weapons and equipment in addition to sending mercenaries to Ukraine, which has also exacerbated the possibility of a US-led conflict between Russia and NATO.

End of message.
