2 / Strong encryption
Encryption for modem internet connection is one of the most effective ways to increase modem security.
Encryption on modems can be done by several protocols, you can choose any protocol you want.
WPA2 Protocol – Wi-Fi Protected Access II We recommend the best choice for strong encryption, it is the strongest protocol available.

Of course, try to change your password every few weeks, strong protocols, no matter how strong, will not necessarily be completely resistant to hacking.

3 / Activate Mac Filtering
Macfiltering is a feature that, when enabled, will only be able to connect systems, devices, and mobile devices that are defined for the modem by entering their Mac address.
By doing so, we can get rid of unnecessary compliments, because no one of the defined devices, even with a password, will be able to connect.

4 / Delete personal details from the modem name
This is a non-technical suggestion and will not prevent hacking and internet theft, but registering a name, surname, contact number for the modem will allow people who intend to misuse this information to have an easy way to obtain this information.
