The ability to automatically delete messages after 90 days will be added to the WhatsApp app soon, and you can enable it from the settings section.

The ability to automatically delete messages after 90 days is one of the new features of WhatsApp, which is currently available in the trial version of this application.

In November of last year, WhatsApp introduced the ability to automatically delete messages after 7 days, which was noticed. A few months ago, they also unveiled the “View once” feature, which, as its name suggests, allows you to view messages only once and then delete them automatically.

WhatsApp now intends to provide users with another option in this regard, and that is to delete messages after 90 days. This feature is included in the trial version of the application (version 2.21.9.6 / only for Android), and if it gets to the original version, you will see the following image in the settings section:

You can choose to never delete messages, or they will disappear automatically after 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days. These options can be effective for different tastes.

WhatsApp does not bring some of the new features it introduces to the original version for weeks or even months, so we do not know when you can find the feature of automatically deleting messages after 90 days in the original version, but at least we know that sooner or later arrives.

WhatsApp has received a lot of criticism in recent years, but it is still one of the most popular in the world and has more than 1 billion users worldwide. Fortunately, the developers are trying to improve it by releasing various updates, and so far it can be said that they have been very successful.
