According to Moj News Agency, Saeed Mahmoudi, Director General of Environmental Protection of Tehran Province, said: During the night patrols of Tehran Environment in November and December of this year, he visited 7716 small, large-scale industrial, trade and production units in the province and the activities of air pollution units. It has been stopped or suspended during these patrols.
Explaining this news, he pointed out that the special program of environmental monitoring in Tehran province will start from the beginning of November and based on these patrols, the environment of Tehran will be monitored at night to prevent polluting activities, especially in the air sector. During this period and until the end of December, more than 200 transportation axes in the province were continuously monitored and controlled at night by environmental experts and patrol crews, which included 370 large-scale industrial units and power plants and 7346 units. It has been a small-scale industrial and trade union that has been visited from time to time.
He stated that in these patrols, the type and amount of fuel of power plants and large industries were monitored and controlled around the clock, and the necessary sampling was done from the chimneys of all power plants and oil industries: 289 cases were monitored from inspection centers The maintenance of light and heavy vehicles on a daily basis and the close supervision of these units in the province were other measures taken in addition to these patrols.
Mahmoudi, noting that 670 visits were made to the sand mining unit in the province in the past two months, added: 158 round-the-clock monitoring of the province’s industrial towns, including 158 other measures taken in line with the patrol missions of Tehran province. Was.
The Director General of Environmental Protection of Tehran Province continued: During the past two months, a total of 405 environmental warnings were issued for polluting units and their officials were informed that according to the statistics of units receiving legal warnings in December, more than 70% of this amount in November The moon has increased. Also, during the night monitoring, the activity of 181 polluting units has stopped, according to which the units whose activity was suspended in December were about 4.5 times more than in November.
Emphasizing that the issue of waste and incineration in the province is still one of the main problems and also remains in the night environmental monitoring of Tehran province, Mahmoudi said: During this period, environmental experts in night patrols with 613 fires Due to the burning waste and waste, they encountered and tried to extinguish it, in most of these cases the fire was extinguished by the experts themselves and inevitably with the use of basic tools.
Special night patrols of the environment in Tehran province will continue and units and individuals will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
