According to Moj News Agency, Sadegh Ziaeian announced: Today (December 20) in the provinces located in the northwest, west and southwest of the country, the heights and southern slopes of Alborz located in the provinces of Tehran, Qazvin, Alborz and Qom, Markazi, northern half of Fars , Bushehr and parts of Isfahan, rainfall, temporary strong winds and in areas prone to lightning and hail are forecast.

The head of the National Center for Crisis Prediction and Management of Weather Risks added: On this day, the maximum rainfall is in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces of northern Khuzestan and southern Lorestan.

He further said: Tuesday (December 20), while the rainfall continues in these areas, with the movement of the rainfall system to the east, the amount of rainfall in the western and northwestern regions of the country will decrease and in some areas of North Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan provinces East In Golestan, Mazandaran and Semnan provinces, we will see temporary heavy rain and wind.

The head of the National Center for Weather Prediction and Crisis Management added: The intensity of rain on Tuesday (December 20) is forecast in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, north of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad and east of Khuzestan provinces. On this day, the occurrence of scattered rain and strong winds in the provinces of Yazd, South Khorasan and North Kerman is not far from expectation.

According to Ziaeian, with the arrival of a new precipitation system from the northwest of the country, precipitation will start again in this area from the end of tomorrow (December 19). On Wednesday (December 1) in the northwest and part of the western regions of the country, rain, snow and lower temperatures will occur. On this day, with the north currents on the Caspian Sea in Gilan and Mazandaran provinces, rain is forecast.

He further said: Thursday (January 2) and Friday (January 23) in Gilan, Golestan and Mazandaran provinces will see rain. During these two days, cloudy skies and scattered rain are forecast in some areas of the northwest and west of the country.

According to Ziaian, during these five days, precipitation will be in the form of snow in cold and high areas, and in these areas, the decrease in visibility is predicted due to fog and snow blizzards.

He further said: during Wednesday (January 1) to Friday (December 3) in the coastal provinces of the Caspian Sea will be a significant decrease in temperature.

Ziaeian added: Today and tomorrow (December 19 and 20) the west of the Persian Gulf and from Wednesday (January 1) to Friday (December 23) the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of ​​Oman will be rough. The Caspian Sea will also be rough on Wednesday (January 1) and Thursday (January 2).

In the end, Ziaeian said: Today and tomorrow (December 19 and 20), Bandar Abbas and Bushehr are the hottest with temperatures of 27 and 26 degrees Celsius and Hamedan with temperatures of 7 and 6 degrees Celsius are the coldest provincial centers of the country.
