Ali Zahedinia stated in an interview with Mehr: Out of 4,598 marriages that have taken place this year, 3,377 are urban and 1,221 are rural.
The director general of the North Khorasan Civil Registry continued: “Also, 1,243 cases of divorce have occurred this year, of which 1,091 are urban and 152 are rural.”
He added: The most marriages of men are in the age of 20 to 24 years with 1,587 cases and the most divorces for this group are in the age of 30 to 34 years; However, most divorces for women have been between the ages of 25 and 29.
Zahedinia said: in the first 7 months of this year, the average age of marriage for men in the country was 27.7 and in the province was 26.8 years; This number is 23 years for women in the country and 21.5 years for women in the province.
He added: The average age of marriage in North Khorasan is lower than in the country.
At the end, the director general of the North Khorasan Civil Registry said: The average age of divorce for men in North Khorasan is 36 and for women in the province is 31 years.
