The body of Baktash Abtin was buried



The body of Baktash Abtin, a poet and documentary filmmaker, was buried in the Imamzadeh of Abdullah Shahrari.

Theater News Base: The funeral and burial ceremony of the body of this poet and documentary filmmaker, who died of coronary heart disease in a hospital in Tehran while serving his sentence, was held today (Sunday, January 10) at Imamzadeh Abdullah Shahrari.

Baktash Abtin (Mehdi Kazemi), born in 1974, passed away on Saturday (December 7) at the age of 47.

“And Let My Foot Write When I Return”, “My Eyelashes Have Stitched My Eyes”, “My Identity Card”, “My Grandfather in My Monkey” and “Hammer” (selected by the Journalists’ Poetry Book of the Year Award) are his poetry books.

“Completely Private for Public Awareness” (Life of Alisha Molavi), “October 13, 1937” (Life of Loris Cheknavarian) “Termites with Baby Teeth” (self-portrait of the artist’s own life), “Park Mark”, “Mika”, “Ansour” and “Homayoun Khoram” are also documentaries that can be seen in Baktash Abtin’s career.
