The Dimension 9400 chip challenged the competitors in its first benchmark

After revealing the first benchmark of the 4th generation Snapdragon 8 chip, which will be introduced next year, the same knowledgeable source has also revealed the benchmark of the rival chip, Dimension 9400, which apparently will have an extremely high power.

A knowledgeable source on the X social network with username NegativeOneHero He published the image of two benchmarks on Antoto and Geekbench platforms and claimed that they belong to Dimension 9400. In these images, we can see that this chip is even stronger than Snapdragon 8 generation 4 in every aspect except in the single-core processing section.

Dimension 9400 benchmark comparison with competitors

MediaTek’s upcoming flagship chip has scored 3,449,366 points on the AntTuto benchmark, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 scored 3,133,570 points. In the Geekbench 6 benchmark, the Dimension 9400 scored 2776 and 11739 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, while the Qualcomm chip scored 2845 and 10628, respectively.

Considering that the Apple M3 chip scored 2985 and 10762 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively, we can consider Dimension 9400 as a competitor for this powerful chip.

Of course, it is worth noting that these chips are still in the development phase and may undergo many changes until the final release. On the other hand, we have to wait to see what Apple’s answer will be to the competitors and whether it will introduce a new product to surpass them or not.
