The Ethiopian army has recaptured a historic city from Tigris militants



According to Sky News, government forces took control of the city hours after the army announced it had recaptured a strategic area in Amrah province from insurgents.

Also, state media reported today (Wednesday) that the Ethiopian army has taken control of the Ghashana Orbit area, which connects four major cities in Amrah province.

In a recent report, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights accused the parties to the conflict in Ethiopia of violating human rights and even committing human crimes.

The conflict in Tigray, which began in November 2020, has resumed since last June. Abi Ahmad, meanwhile, sent troops to the Tigray region to overthrow the front, which is in charge of affairs in the region.

Addis Ababa, the capital of Africa’s second largest country, is the regional diplomatic center in terms of population, and is home to the African Union and the United Nations High Commissioner for Economic Cooperation in Africa.
