According to the Mehr reporter, Mir Hashem Mousavi on Thursday in a meeting with representatives of labor, employers and retirees in Kurdistan said: .
He stated that the goal of the social security system is to achieve justice and added: “There are problems in the social security fund that if we look at this issue on a large scale, we need the support of our social partners to address these challenges.”
The CEO of the Social Security Organization, stating that the fund has problems and the conditions are not positive, continued: “We have no choice but to bring the fund to a tipping point in two or three years and the revenues will be equal to the expenses, and this is important.”
Mousavi added: “There are areas that we can provide for people to enter the fund as insured and help us solve the existing challenge.”
Mousavi considered Kurdistan to have a lot of capacities and continued: using indigenous and internal capacities and production and labor, as a national capital, things should be done in social security and also play a role in controlling inflation.
Noting that the existing labor capacities have not been used well, the CEO of the Social Security Organization added: “Our strategy in the current difficult situation is that we must respond to the existing challenges from within Social Security itself.”
In this meeting, a number of representatives of trade unions and employers in Kurdistan presented their problems and called on the government to support the organizations and address the concerns of workers.
