The Galaxy F42 5G was introduced with a 700 dimensional chip and a 90 Hz display


Samsung today, as promised, the latest Galaxy F series phone Unveiled. This device is called Galaxy F42 5G and is equipped with a 6.6-inch display with full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

This display is an Infinity-V type and on top of it there is a small cut to host a selfie camera. This device uses the MediaTek Dimension 700 chip and is sold in different versions equipped with 8.6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory. In terms of communication, we have support for two SIM cards, 5G network, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

On the back panel of the Galaxy F42 5G is a triple main camera, which includes a 64-megapixel main sensor. The sensor is accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel depth-detection camera. At the top of the screen is an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

This device, which uses the default operating system of Android 11 with One UI Core 3.1 user interface, has a fingerprint sensor on its frame. The Korean phone measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9.0 mm and is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 15 watt fast charge support.

The Galaxy F42 5G will be available in blue and black in a few days, and the prices of different versions in the Indian market are as follows:

  • 6 GB RAM + 128 GB Internal storage: $ 282
  • 8 GB RAM + 128 GB Internal storage: $ 310

Samsung will be short-selling these devices in India for $ 242 and $ 270, respectively.
