According to Mehr News Agency, Hossein Ali Raiti Fard announced this news today in Gorgan and stated: The government’s proposal is to increase the minimum retirement age for hard jobs to 50 years for men and 45 years for women.

He continued: Also, in order to guarantee the continuation of the pension funds, it is foreseen in the fifth plan that the retirement age will be increased by 20 months and instead of the average salary of the last 2 years of employment, the average salary of the last 5 years will be calculated.

The deputy of labor relations of the minister of cooperation, labor and social welfare added: These proposals are being examined in specialized commissions and will probably be finalized by August.

He pointed out: Of course, these proposals may have changes before they reach the floor.
