The implementation of the agency and brokerage fee regulations was postponed


According to the Iran Economist, quoting the General Directorate of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Central Insurance, the members of the Supreme Insurance Council, after discussing and exchanging views on the agenda, agreed on the need to postpone the implementation of the said regulations.
According to this report, the Supreme Insurance Council, after hearing the report of the Central Insurance on the request of the trade unions of insurance agents and the Union of Insurers of Iran regarding Regulation No. 102 “Official Insurance Agency and Brokerage Fee”, decided to implement the said regulation in order to Further studies on its effects on the regulation and development of the insurance market will be postponed and until then, Regulation No. 83 will be valid.
