According to IRNA, “Arash Mirasmaili”, the President of our Judo Federation, who left for Turkey at the official invitation of “Cesar Hoys”, the President of the Turkish Judo Federation, met and talked with “Hossein Ozkan”, the honorable champion of this country.
In this meeting, initial agreements were made with this famous Turkish judoka to lead the Iranian national adult judo team.
After the initial agreements, “Hossein Ozkan” was scheduled to leave for Tehran soon, and after examining the conditions of our country’s judo and presenting his demands, if the agreements are finalized, he will sign an official contract with the Iranian Judo Federation.
The gold medal of the Sydney Olympics in 2000, the silver medal of the World Championship in 1999, the gold medal of the European Championship in 1997, the gold medal of the Mediterranean Games in 1999, etc. are some of the most colorful medals of Ozkan during the championship. Ozkan also coached the Turkish national team for several years.
