The international composition of Iranian women’s karate was determined



According to IRNA; The qualifying competitions for the national women’s karate team were held in two days, in order to finally determine the national team members for the UAE World Championships.

These competitions were held in the weights of -50, -55, -61, -68 and +68 to determine the best karateka in each weight category in the women’s section to be sent to the World Karate Championships.

In the negative weight of 50 kg: Sara Bahmanyar, Masoumeh Mohsenian, Sahar Shirvani and Fatemeh Ghasemi competed and finally, Bahmanyar became the representative of this weight in the world competitions.

In the negative weight of 55 kg: Taravat Khaksar, Avyshan Bagheri and Fatemeh Saadati were present and Khaksar became a successful world traveler.

In the negative weight of 61 kg: Rozita Alipour, Melika Ahadi and Mahdis Doosti went on the tatami and Alipour, with the best results, got a license to participate in the world.

In the negative weight of 68 kg: Mobina Heidari and Zahra Yavari competed in three rounds and Heidari was able to represent this weight in world competitions.

In the positive weight of 68 kg: Leila Borjali and Fatemeh Zahra Golbandi were present and at the end, Borjali booked a ticket to the UAE.

The World Karate Championships in 2021 will be hosted by Dubai, UAE, from November 16 to 15.
