The clash followed the defeat of the 92 kg seed, the wrestler’s fans and coach, in protest of the judges’s judgment, and led to a clash in the competition hall.
In this regard, Ali Asghar Bazri, the head coach of Mazandaran wrestling team, reacted to last night’s events in the national championship by releasing a video in cyberspace and claimed that as the head coach, he had the right to defend his wrestlers against refereeing problems.

The head coach of the Mazandaran wrestling team continued by stating that after the competition, at the request of the jury, he went to the judges to see the video of the wrestling, but it was not justified: At the same time, there were protests from the fans in the hall, because I am against such behaviors by the fans, I directed them to the platforms to calm down the atmosphere of the hall, but while watching the film, something happened between the fans and the police. There was a presence in the hall that should not have happened. “I have no judgment on what happened, I hope this does not happen again.”
