The Samsung W22 5G clamshell smartphone will launch in China on October 13

Samsung launched the 5G W21 5G smartphone last year, and now it looks like it’s time to retire and replace it. Today, Samsung officially announced the release date of its successor, the Samsung W22 5G. The Samsung W22 5G version will be unveiled on October 13 (October 21) at 7 pm local time in China. The device is expected to be available for purchase soon after its unveiling in China. Be with Chicago.

As you know from previous leaks, the Samsung W 22 V5 has the same design as Samsung (Galaxy Z Fold 3) and this phone has just been introduced to the market. Not only does this device borrow from the exterior and appearance of the Galaxy ZFold to look like it, but it also uses the hardware quite similar to the ZZFold 3 components.

The Samsung W 22 V5 version will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chip, which comes with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The clamshell is expected to have a 7.6-inch main screen and a 6.2-inch external display. In addition, we expect the screens to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and also have Gorilla Glass Victos protection. It is also said that this device will have a camera under the screen and will also have a triple camera module.

Given that the design of this phone will be exactly the same as the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Samsung W 22 V5 version may have a 4400 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Although it seems that the numbers may be somewhat different, we can expect a 25-watt fast charge and an 11-watt wireless fast charge, which will be similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3. If this is to be believed, it is said that its price will be much higher than the price at the time of the launch of the Samsung Z-Fold 3, meaning that this clamshell phone will be priced at 14,999 yuan ($ 2,328).
