The statute of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Tehran Municipality was approved


According to Fars news agency, at the same time as the 114th meeting of the Tehran Islamic Council, the statutes of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Tehran Municipality were reviewed by the members of the council.

Mohammad Akhundi, head of the program and budget commission of Tehran Islamic Council, stated that we should have considerations in the statutes that will be the permanent basis for work in this organization, and said: Considering this issue, the statutes should be approved more carefully and on a partial and local basis. Let’s not make a decision.

Ahmed Sadeghi, the head of the transparency and smart city committee of the council, during the review of Article 13 regarding the duties and powers of the board of directors, emphasizing that the municipality has a high capacity in the field of human resources and that this capacity should be used and we should not act against the law in the statute. He stated: If there is no manpower in that organizational post, the municipality can use the employees of other government organizations. We cannot act against the law and add a condition to the law.

Further, the proposal of Ali Asghar Ghaemi, a member of the Council’s Civil and Transportation Commission, based on three years of executive experience in the municipality, was approved for the election of the CEO of the Information and Communication Technology Organization of Tehran Municipality.

It should be noted that the general principles of the Tehran Information and Communication Technology Organization were approved by the maximum number of favorable votes of the members.
