The temperature of the earth’s air became a record

The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) expressed concern about breaking the average heat record on the planet.

According to Moj news agency, quoted by the BBC news channel, the latest findings of this institution related to United Nations It shows that the month of June 2023 (last month), which ended 10 days ago, was the hottest month in history, and the average global temperature at a height of two meters above the surface of the earth reached 16.88 degrees Celsius, which is unprecedented.

This heat has continued in the current month (July), which is usually the hottest month of the year.

In addition, the warmest water temperature has been recorded in the North Atlantic Ocean and the amount of polar ice in the Southern Arctic Ocean has reached its lowest level.

According to scientists, the reappearance of the El Nino phenomenon and human activities are the cause of such an increase in temperature.

The World Meteorological Organization also warned that these changes can have very large and destructive effects on the planet’s ecosystems.
