The thirteenth government’s approach to the industrial sector is to revive stagnant production units



In an exclusive interview with IRNA on Monday, Ali Rasoulian stated that the number of stagnant production units identified in the country was 12,067 in the field of industry and industrial towns, and added: “So far, after solving the problems of industrial units, 1,750 stagnant units The work and production cycle has returned and 30,000 jobs have been created.
He continued: “The government, with the help of the private sector and economic activists, is seriously pursuing the solution of the problems of production units, and very good planning has been done in this regard.”
Rasoolian mentioned two important and priority programs of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade in relation to industrial estates: providing infrastructure and supporting small businesses and enterprises and said: 2,023 projects related to providing infrastructure of industrial estates in the country, including Water, electricity and gas supply with 60,000 billion rials credit is underway in different parts of the country.
Deputy Minister of Silence and Managing Director of the Organization of Small Industries and Industrial Towns of Iran stated: 390 infrastructure projects in the country’s industrial towns with a credit of 11 thousand and 400 billion rials were inaugurated in the Fajr decade this year and the rest of the projects will be inaugurated by the end of the year.
He mentioned another priority program of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade to create small and medium workshops in the country and added: out of one thousand small and medium workshops in operation in the country, 800 units have been produced and operated so far.
Rasoulian said: a number of small workshop units in Khuzestan have been put into operation and another 150 units will be put into operation by the end of this year, while Karkheh city has also been seen in these projects.
He referred to his visit to the industrial town of Shousha city and the complex under construction of chipboard production factory in Karkheh city and stated: The largest factory and chipboard production complex in the Middle East is under construction in this region, which will be completed while completing the chipboard production chain. By planting a tree, in addition to meeting the domestic demand for chipboard, it is possible to export to different countries.
Rasoulian referred to the studies conducted in connection with the creation of an industrial area for furniture production and wood production with significant job creation by the management of Pak Wood factory in Karkheh city and added: “By creating this area, we will see exports to the region.”

During his visit to Susa, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade visited the largest chipboard factory under construction in the Middle East in the city of Karkheh.
